Well, I would consider 4-8, 5-7, and 3-9 "much" better than 0-12 or 1-11 given the circumstances at the time.

If he can't shoot that well his floor would look to be like a better version of Ricky Rubio, which isn't bad for a floor.
7-36 from 3 in the summer league. Yikes!

With all the talk about how his dad groomed him to be an NBA player, he probably screwed him by not fixing that form at a young age. Ugly.

Idk... That "quickness" hasn't shown in the summer league so far. He struggles to get by people and that will just get tougher once he gets to playing the real NBA guys. His passing is other worldly though.

Because of his vision and ability to anticipate, he has quickness to spare in the open court. In the halfcourt, if he can shoot at a respectable rate( 12+ of 36 from deep as opposed to 7 of 36), defenders will have to play him more closely. This should make it somewhat easier for him to get around people. He also might be intentionally moving his feet more slowly in the halfcourt offense so we can all get a good look at his shoe choice for the night... once he settles on a brand, he'll kick it into a higher gear.

So did Giles not play in any of the summer leagues games? I went looking through most of the box scores and only saw dnp's. I hope he isn't hurt again.

That is, unfortunately, the story of his career. I hope it can change but I have my fears.

Harry has already signed with the Kings. He probably has approximately $4 million guaranteed over the first 2 years with a team option of $6.6 million over the final 2 years. I am guessing that at some point over the Kings' next 164 regular season games, they are going to have Giles go full throttle.

It will be interesting to see where some of the guys not under contract end up after this summer league. Presumably Amile and Matt have received some feedback on whether teams have any training camp/G League interest. Unfortunately, neither got a lot of time on the court to showcase themselves to international scouts, but their reputations and college footage should help them in that regard. Marshall also has some decisions to make, although I think he might be content with starting in the G League this season and also figuring out where the Army fits in with basketball. Interestingly, there are cases of people serving in the Army in Germany and simultaneously playing in the local league there.
