Some interesting tidbits that help explain the resurgence of WBB.

Sloppy first quarter (which seems the norm), with Duke leading 10-9. Duke shooting 25%, Miami 23.9. ESPN stats say turnovers are Duke 5, Miami 3, but it seems like more.

Two late buckets by Ducky Odom gives Duke the halftime lead at 23-20.

Miami with 10 offensive rebounds, but shooting 25%.

Lexie leads with 9, Ducky with 6. Rebecca has taken one shot (missed). Miami doing a good job denying the open shot. It seems most of Lexie's buckets were in transition. Duke's defense, as usual, has been outstanding. Playing Erin at the top of the zone really has disrupted Miami's offense.

Let's hope we can get a few more buckets to fall, and cut down the turnovers as we did last night. Miami's playing their third game in three days, so hopefully we can wear them down as we did Syracuse last night (remember it was only a 3 point lead late in the 3rd quarter.)

Brown is really good. So nice to have a point guard again. Makes all the difference - particularly when you have a star Women on to the finals.

Duke escapes Miami after after a hard-fought game. Miami played superb defense, as did Duke. Our offense was not good. Survive and advance. Final score: Duke 57 Miami 52. Lexie and Rebecca hit some clutch shots. Lexie had 20 points.

Proud of Coach P and the team. Great win. Katie Meier had a great defensive plan. They kept the ball away from Greenwell and it almost worked. Lexie Brown is a incredible. Dee can sure be proud.

I was worried when the pressure picked up at the end, but the team didn't! Great win, and a valuable experience moving forward. Looking forward to knocking Miss Muffet off her tuffet tomorrow. LGD!
