Whoa! Are these legal?
I just saw that a bunch of Duke's older NCAA games are available on DVD through Amazon.

Has anyone else seen this or know anything about it? Most importantly, why isn't the Duke-UK game from 1992 available? Maybe they're working on a special box set?
Whoa! Are these legal?
. . . or Duke-Vegas '91, or Duke-Temple '87 . . . .
I like that they had the Duke-Kansas '86 game. It got me to thinking that I'd love to see a clip of Dawkins slamming on David Rivers ('85 or '86 -- I'm a little fuzzy on it now) in Cameron. Must've been '86, b/c Rivers was in the same incoming class as Ferry IIRC.
iTunes has a cut-down verson of the '92 Duke-KY game, as well as the Duke-Arizona championship game. Maybe more by now, I haven't checked in awhile.
OK, I did a google search on NCAA On Demand and found a whole site full of games. How have I not heard of this? There has to be a catch.

This guy has many of those games and the quality is superior to those on Demand. His cost substanially less. [link redacted. He's not an authorized reseller. -jk]
WOW. Absolutely incredible find. This is officially me favorite thread ever. You have no idea how many times I have longed to purchase a DVD set of the 2001 tourney.
If you can find the 2001 SEASON (or bulk of it), please let me know!
flash -- I can't get that link to work.

Well maybe not, but he's my new favorite poster
Great find!!!!
Another great game to find would be the 1999 First Round matchup between Harold "The Show" Arcenaux and North Carolina I have been wanting that game ever since it happened. Nothing brings your spirits up on a down day like hearing Kevin Harlan scream "The Show!" after every Harold bucket in the last ten minutes of that monumental upset.
Right up there with any of our national title nights, that afternoon ranks as one of the best of my life. Watching the faces of Carolina fans everywhere cringe in total despair was priceless.
I've got a couple of these DVDs and just a quick note on them that may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view. You get the game and literally nothing else. Everything else has been edited out. No pre-game hype from the announcers, absolutely no post-game (interviews or otherwise) and even the CBS jingle going to commercials is edited out. The good news is that you can watch the entire 40 minute game in about an hour and five minutes. But if you're looking to recapture the experience of watching it live, you might feel a little cheated.
lol, DukeUsul, I hear that...I was in band 99-03 and remember my last game in Anaheim, CA vs. Kansas. blah
