    National Brownie Day

    https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/brownie-day/

    Celebrate!

    Preferably with a tasty imperial stout. Or, for those who abstain, a large, cold glass of milk.

    Magnificent. Normally I'd either spork a good comment or say nothing if I can't spork, but I'm making an exception. We can shut down the thread now.

    I dunno about that, good or bad. Five posts, two of which refer to a type/variety of brownie that's only legal in a few states and now, brevity wants to shut it down.

    I was kinda hoping for a Betty Crocker vs Ghiradelli brownie mix discussion. Maybe a "how many minutes will each one play, err, bake in the oven" or "what temperature should I bake mine at" or "should chocolate chips and pecans be starters in the mix or come off the bench, I mean, counter/cupboard, along with the caramel sauce."

    <sigh>

    I'm so confused, I thought this was a thread about little Girl Scouts. Semper Fi, or whatever they say! (wee cookie hawkers that they are).

    Pies are American. Don McLean proved it.
