Uhh, Cardinals. But maybe this is an Alice-in-Wonderland contest.

This might make both parts of my DBR name happy.

Of course, if one of them were possessed by demons and the match were joined on the earthly plane, I would think demons would have a decided advantage. (As long as the match isn't with violins and the devil himself competing in Georgia)

The Tom Collins is a Collins cocktail made from gin, lemon juice, sugar, and carbonated water. First memorialized in writing in 1876 by Jerry Thomas, "the father of American mixology", this "gin and sparkling lemonade" drink is typically served in a Collins glass over ice.

How to make The Tom Collins Cocktail:

Add the lemon juice, simple syrup and gin to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and strain into a highball or Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry.

Are you sure it's asleep? If it's dead, we may need to throw a wake. If it's an Irish wake, we can serve tom collins and all get drunk!

Is it my imagination or does it look like that red bird is wearing a black fanny pack?

I don't want to jinx it, but Wake just hit two 3's to go up 9 with 2:00 minutes remaining against Louisville...

My main takeaway from tonight is that it is hard to win on the road in the ACC.

I think the little red bird really isn't asleep, and is actually road kill.

Then, my dear BenAkiva, kindly avoid overt statements about the status of any game on this particular thread.

You were fortunate not to garner the wrath of the jinx gods on this occasion, but make no mistake, I am on a first-name basis with them and I will not hesitate to make avail of my connections should you continue to court disaster.

Now, go and jinx no more.

I was just here for the philosophical discussion -

The wake ended and the bird buried before we broke out the rum. Sorry, the bartender only got the chance to prepare a delicious collins for the attendees.
