I saw Russell in Cameron back in his heyday. He did know how to put on a good show.

He was one of those folks who dropped out of the limelight but kept recording on small labels and playing small venues. A lifer.

    RIP.

    Who am I leaving out?

And don't get me started on classical conductors. Pierre Boulez, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Kurt Masur, Neville Marriner.

    Hallelujah, indeed.

Anderson (first Jefferson Airplane), Kantner and Emerson are in my collection. Starr and Shepard are not. Martin was a giant in his own field.

The others are not familiar to me.

Still, seems like a depressingly long list.

Leon was a favorite of mine. Last saw him at Merlefest in 2013. RIP, Leon. My favorite album was Asylum Choir II, which he did with Marc Benno. Hank Wilson has been silenced, as well.
Man, if your Mom made you wear that color when you were a baby, and you're still wearing it, it's time to grow up!
