    Here's another list:

I think I've had 2 of the top 50 on this one.

    Alcohol by Volume: 5.0%

Now, WTH is a sunny pale ale? SMH. Next thing ya know, a cloudy IPA or an overcast wheat ale .

Pour from a 16 ounce can, the last member of my June 4 pack from beer club, was yellow-straw in color with a hint of a chill haze. Faint citrusy and floral aromas and lightly bready, caramel-y, bitter taste and mouthfeel. Pretty much as expected for the style. I'll guess 40 IBUs. I'd pair with some grilled tuna and asparagus and perhaps some roasted red potatoes. Worth a 12 ounce bottle or 16 ounce can but wouldn't buy the entire litter.
I don't know about overcast wheat ales, however we already have cloudy IPAs. New England style/ hazy IPAs might as well be cloudy ;-)

7 out of the top 80. Shows what I gose.

    Westbrook (original) 14
    Wicked Weed Pacificmost 31
    Victory Kirsch 41
    AV briney melon 52
AV gin and tonic 66 (still have a few in fridge)
    WW Tropicmost 73
    AV Kimmie, Yink, ... 80

Tough list to slog through in terms of either no label ("gose") or brewer funny puns.

Without trying Oskar Blues Passion Fruit Pinner (which by memory is incredible), I would have gone 0 for this list until the honourable mention.

And, if we list too many gose puns, mods might start a separate thread containing bad beer puns.

    5 of the top 50, 10 of the top 80, 13 out of 100

    9 - Super Spruce
    18 - Gose Gone Wild - Phuket
    41 - Kirsch Gose
    46 - Geyser Gose
    47 - AV Blood Orange
    63 - Ritterguts Gose
    66 - AV GT Gose
    75 - Hibiscus Gose
    77 - Destihl Wild Sour
    80 - AV Kimmie
    86 - DFH SeaQuench
    96 - Otra Vez
    98 - Sixpoint Jammer

I've been a huge fan of the style since AV Kimmie brought it to my attention several years ago. Because of weird distribution patterns, still haven't had any of the Westbrook varieties. Need to make a return visit to Charleston I think. I'll tout it as "Tbyers11 Gose to Charleston Trip"

P.S. Fuse, I think you can add another to your list as I believe you have touted AV Blood Orange as one of your favorites

Ooh, I might have to look at the second 50 on the list as I might pick up a few more credits.

Definitely. A lot of the top 50 by rank are beers from breweries that don't have many reviews that probably don't have a big distribution footprint. Some of the more "national" varieties are in the bottom 50.

I guess familiarity breeds contempt, or at least lower scores, and down gose the rating

Got to 9/100 after expanding my list. Gose to show ya to read/explore/sip more.

Duck-Rabbit brewery in NC really needs to branch out from their "dark beer specialists" claim and brew one called, wait for it:

    Duck, Duck, Gose.

(but, then again, someone far more witty/clever/quicker than I am probably thought of that and brewed it already )

And, Lord help us if someone gets the bright idea of putting ghos(e)t peppers in one of their brewings.

Thanks for the assist! I also missed Otra Vez, which is excellent.

May have had Jammer, not sure though.

Never really got in to the gose style. I've tried a few, but I don't think it is the style for me.

Probably worth revisiting from time to time, just to see how it gose.
