Dark Hollow-Blue Mountain Brewery
From Untappd:
"Dark Hollow blends the miracle of two crafts – brewing and distillation – to create a work greater than the sum of its parts. An Imperial Stout has been aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels still dripping with uncut whiskey. For 100 days the young beer patiently breathes in and out of the wood, gaining complexity, character, and serious attitude. Can be enjoyed immediately, or five years later, when you dust off the last vintage bottle from your cellar to share with good company.
Available as long as each batch lasts, November-April."

Ymm, Beer rating-low cat 3; a strong flavored imperial stout in addition to high gravity; happy to taste again, thinking it's been several years since savoring one

82 degrees, 27% humidity, dew point 44.7129 (damn fine weather for NC in May), subs for dinner after a 7 PM dance lesson with a dinner beer TBA, then some high gravity pastry stout for a dessert/nightcap after 10 PM with a 30 minute thirst-provoking walk just before that. I already have almost 20K steps for the day. ;-)

So, what do you think it would be like if the giant Gingerbread Man from Shrek got into a fight to the death with the giant Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters? The answer is…
