I do believe it is time again! Especially to try out a Hokie Lager!

You hold a Wisconsin Style Honey Bock, easy going and more approachable than its traditional dark German cousin. Bock beers have existed in Wisconsin for over 150 years. This pale bock is brewed with an exclusive blend of Wisconsin two row barley that balances seamlessly with our special European hops. Naturally sweet Clover Honey was added in the kettle accenting warm flavor notes on your tongue.

I'm the one who still owes you good beer at a tailgate anyway (after losing a pie bet Badly on a Duke-UVA football game).

Counting down to the next tailgate..
pretty tough to get on airplane these days with liquids, but if I ever drive down on the way to the OBs or something, i'll bring a bunch...

This is an as-expected, flavorful summer beer. Actually has a little Blue Moon profile to it. Some spice from the ginger. Quite tasty. I need to pour it next time, though. Drank it from the bottle this time around.

Yea, it was nice to be able to pack/pad a buncha bottles in socks, sweatshirts, running shoes, ski boots, etc and bring back some local stuff after visiting family and/or educational meetings, but now, it's quite difficult and I'm not sure I'd ever pack a can that way.

I poured a second bottle. Color of Sauvignon Blanc, but with just a little haze. Hint of green color. Better from a glass than the bottle. A good new Foothills beer.

Just wanted to say that I'm still alive and the 2nd fridge contains a steadily decreasing quantity of Ymm, Beer. I've been absolutely swamped at work and am now approximately 1 month behind on the thread.

    Time for one quick review...

The Beginning is After the End
    Burial
    Coffee Porter
    ABV: 6.5%

This is definitely a COFFEE porter. Almost cold-brew in a can. Goes great with breakfast-for-dinner (or breakfast, depending on the day). Very happy to bring this back from NC.

JackieO’s - Bourbon Barrel Skipping Stone
Belgian style Quad Ale aged in bourbon barrels.
A timeless action of nature in motion inspired a beer both rich and elegant. Bourbon Barrel Aged Skipping Stone exudes powerful notes of caramel, dark fruit, spice, and oak. A beautiful beer to imbibe in subtle surroundings, where the mind can roam.

    BELGIAN STYLE QUAD ALE
    ABV 13%
    LIMITED RELEASE
    HOPS
    CZECH SAZZ
    MALTS
    AROMATIC MALT
    HONEY MALT
    Added-DARK BELGIAN CANDIED SYRUP

Let this warm, better after 30 minutes, even smoother after an hour. Chocolate and bourbon. Ymmm.
