I had a Galaxy forward/featured IPA or IIPA from Trophy a couple years ago that I thought was outstanding, too, so was a tad disappointed in that New Grass beer (not your fault, of course).

Wouldn't it be cool if Incendiary made a Collaboration stout with Casita? Well they did...

Bunches & Bunches - Casita Brewing Collab with Incendiary - 8.8 % - Chocolate Covered Banana Stout

Black with usual thin pretty beige head rising up after pour. Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, and lots of Banana on the Nose. And get this - all the banana flavor comes from "a very expressive yeast modified to produce a banana flavor." It works.

This beer really continues to get better after allowed to warm. Let it patiently warm if you try.

Roasty rich chocolate (no coffee) with a very nice vanilla to subtle Walnut finish. Mouthfeel is too thin.

Low Category 3. Fun beer - definite chocolate covered banana flavor, and definitely not too sweet. Casita and Incendiary make good beer.

New Anthem Two Tone Hazy IPA

On draft at the local Lowe’s Foods Beer Den. Fanboy sez absolutely delicious. Loads of citrus flavors, mostly in the pineapple vicinity. Well-structured by the hops. Long finish. 7.5% ABV. I’d put IBU’s on the mid 40’s. Three-Three-Sixers should run, not walk, to Peter’s Creek Parkway....

We went with the elephant beer last PM; the zoo was today. I'd never heard of/seen a Delirium barrel aged beer and it lived up to the brewery's rep.

More to follow. Although I *might* have added some Absolut Juice Apple Edition vodka to the mix. Maybe. Hard to say.

They must release a new beer every day. Amazing the numbers they produce and the quality they maintain.

It’s also possible that it’s a delicious combination. Please keep that under your hat, too.

    Intermingle (2020)

    Hardywood Park Craft Brewery
    Belgian Strong Dark Ale
    10.4% ABV

Bourbon barrel quadrupel (15 months age) + bourbon barrel barleywine (14 months age) + chardonnay barrel Belgian strong golden ale (4 months age). Family Tree exclusive 4 pack.

Had another today up on the river, previously reviewed. This is another excellent Brian’s Blend without calling it that. Malty up front and the bourbon is forward, sort of a buttery finish I’m assuming is from the Chardonnay. Cat3.

    Delirium Barrel Aged-The Huyghe Brewery

    Melle/Ghent, Belgium in not local

Credit-younger son in law share last PM; thanks
    Style-BBA black ale
Format-75 cl bottle with cork and muselet
    Stemware-snifters
Appearance-dark, dark amber with a modest fizzy, lacy head
    Nose-bourbon and dark caramel
    Mouthfeel-seductive
Tastes-bourbon, dark caramel, vanilla , oak, coconut (not added), char
    IBU-22
    ABV-11.8%
Overall impression-fabulous pairing with a 12 hour smoked brisket, kale salad with apples and blueberries and 2 cheese homemade mac 'n cheese
Ymm, Beer rating-easy low cat 3 but not quite "full" full enough flavors for the mid level but I'm picking a nit or two here; also a bit spendy at $30 for the bottle
