Our latest Craft Happiness Project beer will be available soon! SNIP is brewed to bring awareness to the importance of spaying and neutering pets. It's made with Simcoe, Galaxy and Idaho 7 hops; flavor profile includes tangerine, citrus, peach and passion fruit. A portion of proceeds will benefit Humane Solution, a nonprofit whose mission is to end euthanasia of healthy adoptable pets by providing affordable spay-neuter costs to pet owners.
Look for this beer on tap and in 19.2-oz. cans toward the end of April at all three of our locations

We didn't get to Anchorage during our inner passage cruise/medical meeting about 13 years ago.

Serious question for T-Will (or others) - would this style beer pair well with a cigar? I assume it would. That Boulevard BBA Quad paired perfectly with one as have some scotches.

(I'm only allowed 1-2 cigars a year which is enough, but just curious)

I'm out of "early" US craft breweries that are still in existence, unless you want to include Yuengling (founded 1829).

I don't get to say this every day.

Foothills beats Burial in a side by side.

Foothills Torch Pilsner (High Cat 2 for Style) I'm enjoying right now is notably better than Our Hearts of Ruin Burial Pilsner (Cat 2)

    Finally:

Ghost in the Machine-Parish Brewing Comapny

    Not local

    Credit-a trader from ClemmonsDevil; thanks!
    Style-NEIIPA
Format-12 ounce bottle (not many of those still filled)
    Manifested On-02/11/21
Stemware-only the best for this one, a Hardywood teku
Appearance-white grapefruit juice with a 2 inch foamy top
    Nose-grapefruit and stone fruits
    Mouthfeel-juicy juice
Tastes-grapefruit, peach, cantaloupe, orange and zest
Hops-"Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA." (beeradvocate)
    IBU-100 (No. Damn. Way.)
    ABV-8.5%; dangerous stuff
Overall impression-live up to the ClemmonsDevil hype; not the best NEDIPA I've had but damn close and highly tasty; any 336ers that get this will smile for days
Ymm, Beer rating-low/mid cat 3; this is an excellent beer; RJ is right and I'm a bit tough on IPAs/IIPAs, as is TW, but I'd compare with Burial, New Anthem and Veil

    New Glarus Belgian Red

My favorite of the Wisconsin delivery.
Does anyone think the Belgian Red isn't New Glarus's #1?

It's arguable, for sure as others are also quite spectacular. But I think most/all of us would rank the Red #1.

    Raspberry Pop Tart is #2

I liked this better than the other fruited beers. Crisp, honey.
They really need to brew this one again. One-offs should be able to be continued by popular demand.

Kinda like what happened with the cheesy gordita crunch

Hmm, pondering. I'd break that out for the Ymm, Beer summit in Raleigh next month but I'm on call. Might have to be a summer share.

Oooh, maybe we could/should share photos of our pets and then tell stories of our childhood and/or children; while we share/trade SDDB or patio or driveway beverages.

From the 2021 calendar earlier this week:

    "You might be a redneck...

...if you've ever held a beer in one hand and a baby in the other"

When I was in college I used to own a mean emperor scorpion and an Amazon goliath bird-eating spider as pets. LOL

CB&B might be interested in that but I think he likes snakes and cats, though not necessarily in the same house.

What kind of beer goes best with arthropods?
