PS-Even if it's "only" mid cat 3, it'll still be a great beer.
Apologies for not mentioning two of the most important words in the English language:

You are most certainly welcomed back (frequently, of course) any time you're ready/able.

Thanks for the heads up, too.

Always learning something new on Ymm, Beer; no nonsense:

"Every April 7 is National Beer Day, a time where we can raise a toast to the oldest and most venerable of all beverages. People have been making beer for over 5,000 years; in fact, the oldest recorded recipe we know of is for beer."

"Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter.

Perfectly balanced with a malt backbone and combined with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this beer is remarkably drinkable and well suited for adventures everywhere. "

From last PM's lead up to Saturday's American Classic Craft Virtual Pub:

Two Hearted Ale-Bell's Brewery (fka Kalamazoo Brewing in 1993)

    Not nearby

    Credit-themed beer
    Style-American/west coast IPA
Format-pint can, a splurge () at <$3 for the single instead of the 12 ounce bottle at $2.29
Canned on 11/20/20 (coulda been fresher but it was better than the bottle which was older "vintage"
    Glassware-standard pint glass
    Appearance-clean, light bronze, moderate foam
    Nose-pine and rind
    Mouthfeel-moderate bitterness
Tastes-pine/resin, grapefruit juice and zest; hints of orange and caramel
    Hops-100% Centennial (old school)
IBU-55 (Bell's does not print on can but does on their website and Untappd quotes the same
    ABV-7%
Overall impression-one of the standard bearers for the style; happy to sip again but there are better products/variants on the market now

Also from Springfield, MO. Mother’s appears to have a lot of offerings in distribution here. I bought a sixer of this because domestic tranquility favors lagers. I have only tasted this from a can. Slightly sweet, actually, with a floral hint. 5% ABV. Will properly pour and drink a full one of these in the coming days.
The more I work my way through this sixer, the better this beer becomes. Super-glad to have found it. Really tasty.

    More on National Beer Day:

"Beer is the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic drink, and it’s easy to see why. It comes in hundreds of types, flavors, and proofs. People have been drinking it for thousands of years; scientists have found evidence of beer production dating to 7,000 BC. Ancient Mesopotamians wrote poems about it, and considered it proof of divine existence. The Ancient Egyptians used it in a number of religious ceremonies. In Medieval Europe, monks made beer their monasteries, elevating the craft of brewing to an art form. Today, only water and tea are more widely consumed than beer, and over 35 billion gallons of beer are produced worldwide per year. "

Ardent will always be a favorite. Daughter knew the original home brewers and their back door patio startup. They moved to Scott’s Addition and set them selves apart with a honey ginger beer everyone who’s had one loves it.

Barrel Aged Honey Ginger is back!

“This batch was aged in bourbon barrels for more than a year, layering bourbon and vanilla notes on top of honey sweetness and ginger spice. This big beer is an amped up version of our seasonal Honey Ginger that only comes out once a year, so get yours before it’s gone!”

Some unmentioned mishap precluded a 2020 offering, 2019 was awesome.
I'll never forget first tasting BBA Honey Ginger and side-by-side with regular Honey Ginger at a tailgate with you.

That's super cool that your daughter knew the original home brewers of Ardent.
That's like me knowing Mattman. Mattman91 brewing gonna be bigtime, and the 336 claims him by way of Asheville
