Perusing the "F" list now. Hoping to come up with 9 of them...

    Only found 2F:

    Falstaff (I'm guessing ewwwww)

Fuller's (really good from distant memory and guessing you'll find a couple in Tripping Wine and/or your favorite small craft beer shop)

Taking a break for some SDDB and pizza at an undisclosed local residence. More tonight. Could be a lot more.

    >15K steps in the books so far today; almost 8 miles.

Might have to do a push-up and a sit-up; just because.

    Prairie Artisan Ales Stuf’t.

Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with vanilla , cocoa nibs and Oreos.
    Only 14.8% !

Poured black with minimal head. First whiff is chocolate and booze, hints of vanilla in the background. This beer is smooth and goes down easy, no idea it’s 14%. Enough of the Oreo’s you can say “that’s an Oreo.” Cat3. Not sure who can find it. Free for me gift from Ohio sister.

Usually no need. If you drink it neat, a single cube of ice or (my preferred method) a few drops of water will open it up nicely.

Laphroaig is — um — really really peaty. Very much an acquired taste and not a typical scotch. I usually describe it as like licking an ash tray, but in a good way.

I don’t know of a good way to interpret that. Doesn’t sound good. Ash tray?

Thanks. Realize I may be pushing the envelope a bit here. But I like smoky/peaty. And it should keep Mrs. Tripping away.

You’ll like it more by the third or fourth one.

Oooh, not attractive-sounding at all. Reminds me of describing a kiss with a date who smoked as "kissing an ash tray."

But, if she finds out, it'll mean a lager or three for her or a nice California chardonnay.

A fine evening of conversation, tasty beverages and outstanding pizza with wonderful Ymm, Beer friends. We'll need to expand that gathering in the next few months.

Previously reviewed; still an amazing fruit beer.
