Highly pertinent observation, our man dd is a fine host here and a gentleman of the highest order.
He knows the meaning of friendship.
    Huzzah!
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Another glaring omission from any Valentine's Day beer list:

    In your head.
    Spring is near.

What are your favorite Spring beer styles?

My husband is trying to decide what to brew next.

Lagers are not an option due to lack of temperature control ability for fermentation. For this reason, Kolsch is also off the table.

    Some ideas:

    American Wheat

    Irish Red Ale

    Saison (may be too difficult)

    Irish Stout

From that list I'll vote Irish Red Ale. Such a great style
