Nothing that really jumped out as amazing. But easy to drink with my slice of pizza and salad.

    Upper Cat2?

Either I gotta stop enjoying these DIPA's or else I'm going to have to stop saying "I don't really like IPAs".
Option 3: keep enjoying those IPAs/IIPAs

    Work sucks today.

Should I sample a New Glarus Apple Ale or a New Glarus Cran-bic tonight? Both are new to me. Both get excellent reviews.

It's days like today that really test my ability to work from home without day-drinking.

Four ounces of each for you and Mrs. Nrrrrvous; in separate glasses. Then, combine the remaining 4 ounces of each beverage in a wine glass or snifter and share the remainder; equally, of course.

    Trust me.

    Anheuser-Busch craft beers:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goose_Island_Brewery

"Goose Island started in 1988 as a brewpub in Chicago, and opened a separate bottling plant there in 1995. The brewery and its beers were purchased by Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2011. The Chicago brewery continues to produce and sell small batch beers while their national offerings are made in bulk at various Anheuser-Busch facilities."

    Third domino to fall:

    (no link to brewery website)

"In November 2014, it was reported that 10 Barrel Brewing, with brewpubs in Bend, Oregon, and Boise, Idaho, would be acquired by Anheuser-Busch. This was the second small brewing company acquired by the company in that calendar year."

About 5 days (counting by the hours) until DinK hosts Virtual Pub with wine barrel-aged beers as her choice, which we all agree, is a great topic.

Wicked Weed caused quite a stir here by selling to InBev several years ago.

The fourth one to be bought:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elysian_Brewing_Company

"Elysian was founded in Seattle, Washington, in 1995 by Dave Buhler, Joe Bisacca, and Dick Cantwell. On January 23, 2015, it was announced that Elysian would be sold to Anheuser-Busch in a deal expected to close within three months."

    The next to fall:

"The purchase of Golden Road Brewery in Los Angeles was announced on September 23, 2015."

I have no knowledge of this brewery.

No interruption at all! Carry on; I'm here all evening and learning a lot in the process.

Number seven. I must admit, this one surprised me:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breckenridge_Brewery

"Several days after acquiring the Four Peaks brand and assets, InBev announced the purchase of Breckenridge Brewery, with brewpubs based in Colorado."

Work gets in the way. Blech. Yes, someone's got a case of the Mondays.

I'm here. About to try a new New Glarus for the first time.

Ah, that explains it. Shows how little I know about DMB.
