    Not really local.

Credit-specially priced mini growler on FrIPAday on the trip home this afternoon
Style-fruited sour IPA (really a DIPA)
Format-two pints of ale in a glass jug; half tonight
    Stemware-snifter
Appearance-unfiltered berried juice; minimal pinkish head
    Nose-berries
    Mouthfeel-pucker up!
Tastes-blackberries, lemonade, lemon candy and SweeTarts
Adjuncts-honey, blackberries, lemon zest, milk sugar and a "lemon drop hop"
    IBU-might be around 50
    ABV-7.8% (a booze biscuit shake )
Overall rating-terrific creation; paired well with a crab cake Caesar salad
Ymm, Beer rating-mid cat 3; a near perfect blend of ingredients from a great brewery; nothing sloppy here; highly recommended
There really is such a thing :

    https://www.northernbrewer.com/produ...op-hop-pellets

"Equipped with the elusive true-lemon character, Lemondrop hops boast fantastic lemony-citrus aroma for late kettle additions or dry hopping. Originally released by HopSteiner in 2012 as Experimental #01210, this Super Cascadian hop has a unique combination of fruity and herbal notes, ideal for IPAs, Pale Ales and Saisons."

Credit-Christmas gift from younger son in law; thanks!!
    Style-variant of Dark Secret
Format-12 ounces squeezed into an aluminum cylinder
    Serving method-snifter
Appearance-dark () brown but no longer a secret; modest, foamy latte head
    Nose-bourbon, cream and fudge
    Mouthfeel-sultry
Tastes-bourbon, dark chocolate fudge, half and half, vanilla, soaked wood, hint of java
    Adjuncts-vanilla and lactose
    Barrels-Buffalo Trace
    IBU-60
    ABV-13% (oh, my!)

Forgot to include atmospheric conditions when tasting. IIRC, it was about 43 degrees, winds were calm and it was dark outside.

Hmm, low ABV/session brew to start the game and then play catch up ball with a high energy, err, gravity ale before the end of the half and/or starting the second half?

New Anthem, Omnipollo, Commonwealth and Edmunds Oast should be enough to get through this game. The Veil is on call.

Depending on the container size, ABV and/or the score, you may be a TKO by halftime .

I will probably be watching delayed, but I've got some Answer and Three Notch'd and Veil that will help me make it through.

If that doesn't seem like it will help in the 2nd half, there's always some Glenlivet.
