You gotta sip it slow. But the more of this I have, the more of this I like, really like. You might just get one in the mixer I have been compiling for you.

I'd be honored and delighted to accept one.

I believe DinK will be astounded with some of the creations that are reviewed/revealed here in a couple weeks with the wine barrel-aged beers theme on January Virtual Pub; based on innuendos, heresay, rumors, speculation, DBR posts and unreliable text-messaging sources from across the globe (well, maybe from a couple states in the southeast and southwest ).

I will just be glad if I'm not booed out of the pub for my choice.

Fuse - will you be setting up the Zoom or do you want me to do that?

Your choice is super fun. Wine-barrel aged beers are some of the best I've ever had. Matt and I recently had a Madeira aged BBA Rye Curvee from Boulevard that was awesome. The Chardonnay-barrel aged Belgian Tripel Brian's Blended brilliance from accfan is one of the best beers I've ever tasted. Maybe the best. This VP choice is stellar. Looking forward!

You will be cheerfully applauded and highly praised for your selection. Seriously. I've got 3 selections already: a chardonnay aged tripel, a cabernet aged Scotch ale and a port aged maple imperial stout. LegoBatman mentioned a couple earlier today, fuse inquired about one (for a friend, he claims) and accfan has a hybrid barleywine/mead/wine in his fridge already.

The "propaganda" from Untappd (and most likely The Veil PR folks):

"This is the imperial version of our 0 IBU IPA IdontwanttoBU. Hopped exclusively with Citra and Mosaic. 0 bitterness. This one is just insane. Drinks like it's 6 or 7%, but clocks in at 9.3%. Straight up hop juice."

I'm back in the RVA and caught up on Ymm, Beer. Downed a couple of smoothies the past two nights so nothing new to review. Although I brought home a wheat beer that Mrs. Nrrrrvous picked up that I will be testing in the next day or two. Will let you know. New brewery to me.

The 2020-21 version is fantastic. Dark as night. Thick & viscous. Hint of vanilla, and just the right amount of bourbon flavors. Liquid dessert. 12.2% ABV and IBU’s checking at 87. Excellent night cap.
