Magic Scones - Commonwealth Brewing Collab with Magic Rock Brewing - 7.8 % - Blackberry Lemon Scone Sour IPA with local honey, copious blackberries, lemon zest, lactose, and a lemondrop dry hop.

Deep Pomegranate colored red-purple pour with blackberries and lemonade on the nose.

Tart and fruity with subtle hop that balances gorgeously with the sour. Prominent lemon forward is very refreshing. Then blackberry. Not too sweet. It's the type of sour that will make people who don't like sours change their mind and love sours. It's not very sour but it has amazingly good flavor. Lactose softens feel so it drinks like a milkshake IPA. That is not a bad thing in this beer, trust me.

This is reminscent of a Veil beer - it's absolutely that good. Not that damn pulpy thick, but not too far off and flavor every bit that good.

Mid Category 3, but pushing forcefully into High Cat 3 territory. Definitely buy one if you see this and have any interest in the style. You won't be disappointed.

BCS Special Variant No.4

A BBA beer brewed with maple syrup and coffee. An amazing beer. The maple wafts in on the nose. Wood and coffee and syrup on the palate. They *say* you can catch a hint of blueberry here. I really didn’t, but it gives me a thought of a blueberry pancake, so I’ll go with that. Superbly balanced. Very much worth seeking out.
