Local when I bought it .

    Credit-the need for traders
Style-fruited and flavored cobbler sour ale
    Pouring vessel-half quart can
    Receiving vessel-Hardywood teku glass
Appearance-mildly cloudy peachy yellow with a thin, fizzy head
Nose-"...Millions of peaches, peaches for me..."
    Mouthfeel-more Sweetart candy
Tastes-"...Millions of peaches, peaches for me..." along with vanilla and cinnamon and a mild pucker; liquid cobbler
    Adjuncts-cinnamon, nutmeg, peaches and vanilla
    IBU-likely <10
    ABV-6.5%
Overall impression-well done; reminded me of Hardywood's Mawmaw's Mean Cobbler (variant of their Peach Tripel) except a sour version
Ymm, Beer rating-low cat 3; if RJ can't get a pie bet, he oughtta have a cobbler bet ; 3 of these remain for trading
I definitely can find a way to lose a cobbler bet for this. Looks enticing

I would say drink it now, and decide if you need more in your life. Stella had plenty. It's pretty damn good now - you will be quite happy just the way it is, guaranteed. Lots of good coffee flavor, fudge, and more fudge. Subtle maple flavor comes through quite gently. Enjoy

Had a Hardywood Christmas Morning tonight.

Coffee just such a great job of mellowing out the sweetness of GBS, and after it warms, the gingerbread and cookie spices shine through quite nicely.

Excellent! Plenty of time to shop!!

Hopefully, none of the NC wineries/vineyards will be offering tours that day.

Aroma: Intense, juice-like Mango, Peach, white grape, Candied Watermelon and Blueberry, hints of Gooseberry
Flavor: Juice-like mix of Tropical and Stone Fruits, followed by a mix of Candied Cherry, Blueberry, and Strawberry, with hints of pleasant Florals and soft Hay."

After reading this, I'm not sure I drank the same beer last PM and you'll think that, too, after I post my sipping impressions a bit later tonight.
    Finally, the review:

Preview #3: Hank the Dumpster Kitty-Listermann Brewing Company

A couple hours away from truly local when bought.

Credit-accfan's sister for getting him a high octane single bottle of something from this brewery and his subsequent review on Ymm, Beer
    Style-NE DIPA
Format-another large aluminum tree is gone (but will be recycled next week)
    Glassware-Hardywood teku
Appearance-hazy, unfiltered pineapple juice with a hint of amber; generous foam topping
    Nose-pineapple orange
Mouthfeel-not quite as juicy as a Veil or Burial IPA/IIPA
Tastes-loads of pineapple, orange, tangerine, pith, zest and a bit of the mango they mention above but still wondering if I drank the same beer
Hops-Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado (on the can); Apollo mentioned above
IBU-none listed but probably about 40
    ABV-8.1%
Overall impression-excellent combination of hops (in various forms mentioned above); approaches Veil and Burial territory
Ymm, Beer rating-low cat 3 easily; happy to have 3 more to trade soon

This pecan brown ale was beer #4 in our flights.

Appearance was medium brown with a thin rim for a head. Smelled and tasted like a day old pecan pie that wasn't microwaved the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas. Lots of brown sugar sweetness and nutty goodness. IBUs probably about 30 and the ABV was a dangerous 10% ().
    From last PM:

Prelude #4 in peanut butter minor:

    nuttin' 2it-Zaftig Brewing Company

    Really local when bought.

Credit-a prior tasting from an excellent brewery and the need to complete my order
    Style-pecan (imperial) brown ale
    Format-a short aluminum tree cylinder
    Stemware-snifter
Appearance-dark, dark brown with a thin, tan head
    Nose-nutty
    Mouthfeel-smooth
Tastes-nuts/pecans, dark caramel, herbal/earthy hops, hints of coffee and chocolate (neither added)
    Hops-East Kent Goldings and Willamette
    Adjuncts-peecans
    IBU-estimated at 30
    ABV-10% (whoa!)
Overall impression-tasty night cap, needing the high ABV after last night's loss
Ymm, Beer rating-high cat 2; I liked the Olde Hickory Acan better, but that was a tequila barrel aged brown ale; I think the other 3 recipients will still like this

I still think the Hell Yes Ma'am and Hank the Dumpster Kitty stories are better, but, YMMV.

    Amusedcupcake posted somewhere upthread:

"I have accepted Legobatman's December Virtual Pub host nomination.

Style: Winter Warmer/Holiday Ale. Since this style was chosen last December, I'd like to add a spin to make it a little more interesting. Let's do LOCAL holiday ales/winter warmers/winter seasonal. Local, for this pub, would mean beers brewed in your city or county.

Stay home, stay safe, drink local!

Thanks again to Legobatman for the opportunity"

    Ymm Georgia holiday ale.

Geez, Rhinegeist Truth is the only beer on the list that prevented being 0 for 25. That’s better than Steward and Moore 🤣 (too soon?).
