    Hardywood Kentucky Christmas Pancakes 2019

    BBA with maple syrup GBS

Labelled a 2019 exclusive for the GBS box set.

Cork on this bottle was super tight.

A slow pour yielded spontaneous formation of a super dense head.
What started as a pure liquid pour morphed into mostly head.

As expected, the nose is bourbon and maple syrup.

The maple syrup is front and center, grabbing you by the tongue from the start. The maple never truly subsides, overpowering the christmas cookie spices and bourbon, although both flash through briefly.

Even the finish is maple dominated.

If you like maple, you’ll love this beer.

Makes for a beautiful dessert beer, although like its names sake, it would have made a wonderful breakfast pairing.

    Skol! 🍻

Got myself a hella good haircut today, then saw this at Lowes Foods. I couldn't pass it up. If I don't like it I'm sure my husband will

Hey there ol' buddy, ol' pal, ol' friend... (just because we've never met doesn't mean we can't be friends!)

You don't really need ALLLL of those, now do ya? Wouldn't it be better to have a few of those and then maybe, a few of say, some delicious Veil beers?

I just peeked at Fullsteam’s beer list on their website.

    Sorely, sorely tempted.

Almost a dozen new to me beers that read amazing.

I can’t imagine what happened with the one box given the two boxes delivered each bottle was in its own suit of inflatable armour.

No rhyme or reason to what was in each box, so currently have:
    (3) 2020 Grand Reserve
    (3) Silencia Noche
    (1) Silent Night
    (1) Reserve

Now, the waiting begins on 2 more Silent Nights and Reserves.
    Just a WAG.

Wait, am I reading/assuming that correctly that you got 16 Belgian Reds?

Hmm, if I have a bottle left, I may have to pour a bit over some pancakes during the holidays.

Your eyes do not deceive. “Available in all our grocery stores,” they said. “No trouble at all,” they said. “We want to get you something for all your trouble and hospitality,” they said.

    “Ymmm, beer,” I said.

But COVID and no-travel and stuff. Seems logistically troublesome. Guess I’ll just have to drink all of these myself.

Depending on who you believe/read, that *may* not necessarily be true...

Trading for some Veil beers would be a win-win for both parties in that deal.
