    From last PM:

Mulling Spices Port Barrel Magellan-Wolf's Ridge Brewing

    Local for the purchasing agent.

Credit-our son traded this very limited, brewery only release pre-COVID; thanks!!
    Style-very fancy imperial stout
Format-8 ounce bottle (no, really, it's a half pint glass container); wasn't cheap at about $9/bottle
    Packaged on-01/31/20
    Stemware-snifter
Appearance-dark, dark brown with hints of burgundy; small, tan head
    Mouthfeel-velvety
Tastes-sooooo complex with port to start then, dark caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, dark chocolate (not added) and vanilla
Adjuncts-maple syrup, Vietnamese cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla, (hint of), allspice, orange peel (didn't taste this) and nutmeg
    IBU-probably 50
    ABV-13% (oughtta be illegal )
Overall impression-an amazingly complex beer without an overpowering element; almost a different taste every sip over the 60 minute consumption time
Ymm, Beer rating-upper tier cat 3; my second bottle *might* make it to a 2021 tailgate but might be shared with family before then

Yea, I know it's also for Zoubek but he doesn't have a brewery.

Darn shame I couldn't get another Zaftig product before Virtual Pub, then I'd have 2 "Zs;" imagine the possibilities of Scrabble words with Z&Z.

I know my mind is a little fuzzy while I wait for my pizza to heat up. But as I look out at the drizzling rain, I'm puzzled because I can't think of any words with two z's.

    4 "Zs?"

Bzzzt. Not even in Super Scrabble (yes, I had to research that )

Heck, Nrrrrvous and I are eliminated because there are not 2 "Zs" in the game.

Sister is bringing me the Ol' Rugger from Zaftig, but didn't win the BBA version - lottery.

Full disclosure: Skull Camp is a client, and was started by the current owners of Round Peak Vineyards (and Round Peak was founded by one of my now-retired law partners).

This is a solid beer. Pours a nice copper color. Medium-sized off-white head, which lingers a long time. Nice notes of some caramel, framed well by some pine in the hops (Mosaic, I believe). 9.0% ABV. I’m guessing IBU’s around 65. Not a “wow” beer, but a really good one.
Revisiting this, now I want to do a side-by-side with Foothills' Seeing Double DIPA. Sensing a lot of similarities.

So would that be a double word score? Or at least double letter?

If Mickie Krzyzewski directs Mike Krzyzewski to play the zone, does that get more points?
