    Double Dry Hopped NEIPA

Another good IPA. Not quite as tasty as the one last night from Trophy but still pretty tasty.

I believe this one was a trader from devildeac. Might be the one from Mattman. Can't remember exactly.

    I'd say it's a solid Cat 2 in a very crowded field.
    (raises hand )

This was a top 15ish IPA a couple years ago when fuse posted a link to the "top 384" IPAs.

Isn't it hard to compare those since they change the hops up? Or am I confused.

You are not confused. It's difficult to keep up with all the beer names in (Scott's) Addition to all the different hop combinations, new and old.

    Deathless-The Veil Brewing

Local if you're the delivery guy.

    Credit-accfanfrom1970; thanks!!
    Style-Marzen like lager
Format-there goes another 16 ounce aluminum tree
Numbers on bottom of can-09/23/2020 13:58:12
    Glassware-Dogfish Head nonic pint
Appearance-clean, clear light/medium amber; moderate foam
Nose-toasted bread and almonds (not added)
Mouthfeel-German (have no idea what that means but that was my first thought )
Tastes-thin, caramel syrup, nut mix, herbal hops, toasted bread, hint of honey
    IBU-30 to 40
    ABV-5.5%
Overall impression-not one of my favorite Veil products but nicely represents the style
Ymm, Beer rating-mid/upper cat 2; happy to have had a full pint and guessing about $3.50 for the pint, almost cheap beer by Veil pricepoints

Not goodbye per se. I will be taking my beer musings to crazietalk.net .

I hope to see the folks that make this the best thread on DBR will consider the same.

See you on the other side.

    Skol!
Goodbye to everyone on DBR. This community has been a wonderful part of my life since 1997 or so when I joined, as a student at Duke. I have learned so much and had so many fun chats with you all. I value them immensely. I am not going to log into DBR again, so please don't send me any PM's to this account as I won't see them.

As fuse said, Mattman91 has been permanently banned from DBR. That decision evidently is final. No one is questioning that decision and anyone who saw that exchange understands the decision. But I'm also deciding to continue the conversation including mattman91 who is a good friend. So I'd love to talk to all of you on crazietalk.net or at a virtual pub. I'm not going to log into separate duke basketball forums each day, so that's where I'll be. Come by anytime and bet me a pie. For those who I don't see there, I wish you all the best in your life.
