Now *that* one I'm more certain is attributable to Sir Winston:

"Now Churchill has topped a poll of history's funniest insults with a famous jibe directed at either the socialist MP Bessie Braddock or the Conservative Lady Astor, the first female MP (depending on which version of the story you hear).
When accused by one of them of being 'disgustingly drunk' the Conservative Prime Minister responded: 'My dear, you are ugly, and what’s more, you are disgustingly ugly. But tomorrow I shall be sober and you will still be disgustingly ugly.' "

And oddly enough I went to UNC.
My dad coached a Duke player in high school and I got to be around the Duke program because of him. I was regular smart, not Duke smart in high school and went to UNC. Very weird. All of my buddies knew I was a Duke fan. No one ever gave me a hard time. I was fairly good buddies (we golfed together a few times) with Dante Calabria and he grew up a huge Duke fan.
My favorite Churchill comeback.
I believe it was lady Astor who said to him "If I were married to you I'd put poison in your coffee!" To which he replied "If I were married to you, I'd drink it!"
