New Anthem Rusty Cage Pale Ale

Also double dry hopped with Centennial. Pours like pulpy, hazy orange juice. Only 5.7% ABV, but better than the Bluebird. Less dank, more juicy. Really well balanced. A memorable pale ale, which ain’t easy. Cat 3. Excellent beer.

My next purchase - this could go on multiple threads. Reviewed before, it’s back -

Garden Grove Brewery and Urban Winery
    SYNTHESIS
    16.0% ABV / 11 IBU

Synthesis is a hybrid between a Barleywine, a White Tawny Port, and a Mead. Traditional Barleywines are made from 100% barley but we included equal parts Barley, Virginia grown Vidal Blanc & Chardonnay Grapes, and Orange Blossom & Wildflower Honey and then aged it for 14 months in Syrah & Cab Sauvignon barrels and an additional 8 months in steel. A true fusion of wine & beer

Adding to dd’s list, with another SoPines Growler acquisition:

    Ommegang Double Barrel Dubbel

A limited release. A dubbel brewed with spices and aged in bourbon and brandy barrels. 11.0% ABV. Vigorous pour yields a foamy head. Deep mahogany color, but transparent and not hazy. Notes of leather and wood, with the brandy more understated than the bourbon. Actually tastes more like Boulevard’s quad than any dubbel I’ve ever had. Clears to Cat 3. If I had another bottle, I’d be interested in laying it down for a year.

Ommegang makes some delicious beers. Including their smoked vanilla porter.

I believe I've seen that a time or three and thought very tempting but too much inventory at home. That may have to change.

And, since you mentioned it, from Thursday night:

    Bourbon Barrel Quad-Boulevard Brewing Company

    Quite a distance from local.

Credit-RJ199 and the beergoddess knock another trader out of the park; thanks!!
    Style-ummm...
Format-12 ounce bottle, another aluminum tree was saved
Please enjoy by-18NOV2021 (Hell Yes Ma'am)
Stemware-a large Ommegang tulip because Boulevard is also owned by Duvel Moortgat
Pour-faintly cloudy dark amber; foamy, lacy head
Nose-dark, dried fruits, brown sugar and a "secret" ingredient I had to research
    Mouthfeel-smooth and a bit syrupy
Tastes-complex, including raisins, dates, figs, dark caramel, earthy hops, vanilla, wood and dark cherries (see adjuncts)
Adjuncts-"Cherries are added to make up for the “angel's share” of beer lost during barrel aging." (yes, please!!)
    IBU-26
    ABV-11.2% (dangerous indeed)
    Overall impression-superbly done
Ymm, Beer rating-mid tier cat 3; worth seeking and buying a 4 pack at probably $4/bottle

May be why they are pushing me out.

    Nah... that's the housing costs

Seriously though, let's get that final beer soon before I'm outta here. Lunch this week?

In case new names are needed for a thread, maybe keep it simple and just call it #2
