If he's far enough north, Molson, Labatt and Alexander Keith's may be local.

My guess would be VT has a generous supply of the sap (singular) and doesn't need that imported, but, I haven't researched the import/export numbers.

To be fair, so is Molson and Labatt.

Canada does have good beer, but the names of any escape me. It's been a long time since I lived in New England.

    Salty Turtle HayZay NEIPA

What a way to celebrate returning from the coast.

Looks like only the best Sunday brunch mimosa- orange juice with bubbles.

Lots of grapefruit on the nose, subtle orange.

Spoiled enough to say your “typical” NEIPA.

Highly enjoyable crowler picked up on the way out of town.

    Skol! 🍻

    Local? Close.

Credit-RJ199 and the beergoddess; many thanks!!
    Style-DIPA
Format-pint aluminum can, further contributing to the aluminum shortage, but it'll be recycled next week
Stemware-even though it's an RJ trader, this one found its way into a Hardywood teku, a wise choice
Appearance-a pink and regular grapefruit juice blend with a slightly less perfect head than what fuse poured
    Nose-am I in a citrus grove?
    Mouthfeel-pulpy and juicy
Tastes-pineapple/grapefruit/orange juice and freshly squeezed at that; some pith and rind with a hint of lemons and limes, too
Hops-indeed; double dry hopped (DDH) Citra and Mosaic; a fabulous combo; it also appears RJ199 did more research than I did (see above)
    IBU-perhaps 60
ABV-8% yet soooo easy to sip
Overall impression-if I had another in the fridge, I'd be soooooo tempted tonight...
Ymm, Beer rating-easy cat 3; in the Veil and Burial league here; find this one!
I don't disagree. That was such a good beer night when I had that one followed by Patisserie.

I'd love someone to rank that New Anthem 4-pack. I don't think I could do it - I really liked them all. I think I might rank them: Amen Break, Thought Police, Dancing On My Own, then Bluebird with all being stellar. But I don't know. I really enjoyed all.

Unibroue is a pretty great macro-micro. Dieu du Ciel and Trois Pistoles are two others I've appreciated when in Quebec and I believe I saw both at the old, classic Sam's in Durham so they were semi-broadly available at one point. Have positive memories associated with a few brews from Brasserie de Charlevoix as well.

Their Neon God is probably the best NEIPA I've ever had.
Stella carries a ton of New Anthem. With any future 4-packs I get (to trade with the homies because it's so fun); I'll reserve one for you (until you make the 336 your home, when I'll still reserve one for you but you won't need me to because you'll get to Stella a million times more than me, related both to my work hours and your renting out one of their aisles while your mansion is built).

Clearly, the obvious answer cannot be the true answer. Trust nothing. Suspect everything. Blame Carolina.

Oh absolutely. The stars aligned and I got home from work before 6. On a Friday, it was amazing.

And then i found a Commonwealth Future Classic DIPA with Strata, Citra, and Hallertau Blanc still in the back of the fridge.

I'm tired and beergoddess is telling me it's time for dinner. So this review will be abbreviated (and pretty sure I reviewed it before but not searching).

Category 3. Commonwealth is SO good. Such a wonderful Friday afternoon IPA.

I appreciate it more after drinking High Category 1 beer this week from a beer club my sister got me as a present. And I sincerely appreciate her doing that. It's called "Malt of the Earth" beer club, and sadly the beer just hasn't been very good. This week I had Fresh Cut Pilsner from Peak in Portland Maine and "IPA" American IPA from Peak as well. Both beers tasted about the same. Kinda too bitter in not a great way. I also had Trout Whistle, American Pale Ale from Roadhouse in Jackson Hole, WY which was a little better than the first 2. But not by much. High Category 1.

Then expecting the worst, I just had Family Vacation, American Cream Ale, from Roadhouse - Wyoming. This beer is not bad. Category 2 and refreshing. I'm sure I have 3 more since the beer club delivery had 4 of each. So I'll try to piece together a better review later.

But I LOVE me some Commonwealth.

I can confirm. I think I have some reviews archived from my 2016 visit.
