I don't even have an Irish beer yet. But I'm going to seek out some Outraged Daughters or Harps or Guinness or Black & Tan or something. There is time. I love Irish beer.
    Time running out...

Can't wait to read about your haul.

I haven't seen any DMB recently due to work, but when we get back to one sweet world a live show is happening, hopefully in person. I know Mattman & amused cupcake are in. I miss tailgating and events worth tailgating for already.
Yep, Clemmons. Saw lots of good stuff there. Just no Irish.

Wednesday nights, 8:00 pm, like clockwork.

I'll also note that beergoddess decided she wanted a Raspberry Tart and drank the whole glass. Don't underestimate devildeac's ability to initiate beerlovers who didn't know they were beerlovers.
With New Glarus fruit beers, it's easy. Very easy.

Now, I'm greatly anticipating the Boss Tweed DIPA, another Old Town product, you also included in our June traders.

Sent to me by a friend, Wal Mart in Wake Forest has a giant palate of BB beer, selling for $7 a six pack.

Meeting friends at New Belgium in a little bit. Hopefully will be able to find some suitable Irish beers afterwards

    This is fun.

Just looked over the NB beer list on their website and found nothing sounding Irish.

Note found nailed to Virtual Pub door minutes ago:

    Dear Nrrrrvous:

I'm sorry I'll be a few minutes late to the pub's opening today as Mrs. dd will be in a Zoom meeting on our laptop for a virtual baby shower for a good friend of the family from about 1100-1300 hours and I've sequestered my reviews temporarily on another site. Thanks for hosting!

    Cheers,

    dd

I ended up picking up more “other stuff”, did the best I could.

Antcipated in scope / close to in scope beer:

    Moylan’s Gollum Red
    NoDa Ramble on Red
Innis & Gunn Blood Red Sky
Innis & Gunn Irish Whiskey Barrel Aged Stout

As far as I can recall, other than NoDa, the other two breweries are known but hitherto untasted breweries prior to today.

The exciting addendum is added a few other new to me to try, including Oozelfinch and two Hillstead Farm beers!!! 👀

It’s been a *long* time since I had a Moylan’s product. Had pretty much forgotten about them.

I almost put a couple Innis & Gunn products in the cart thinking they were brewed in Ireland...

Amazing you found Hillstead Farm products.

A Scottish brewery that seems to favour Irish style beer brewing 🤔

Exactly. I came real close to buying that Irish whiskey barrel aged one that you bought and will be very curious to read your review.

The beers do not appear to be on the HF website, this was the closest I could come.

Got both the Lemon Cello, and Waichu Saison.

Only got one of each, was limit 2 at Glass Jug.

Hill Farmstead seems to be developing sub-brands; both are part of their Grassroots series.
