Veil is delivering, and the daughter’s birthday is next week. I ask what does she want for her birthday? She replies “Veil is delivering and I’m low on beer. You know me, Gose and IPAs.” God bless her. Three high end 16oz. 4-packs delivered. $93 including tip and delivery. She works at Washington Hospital in the lab and wants no one violating social distancing so no personal deliveries, but she makes me proud. She’s been to one tailgate. Hopefully more this year.

The hops don't fall very far from the vine. Or something like that.

She's invited back to another tailgate or three. You can accompany her if you'd like.

Tell her thank you, and happy birthday from me.

Wow. Like, knock you back wow.

Another tasty beverage delivered in person by rj199 and beergoddess.

Loads of fresh, tropical fruit salad.

It evaporated from my glass far too quickly.

    Cheers, and thanks richardjackson!

I'm excited to hear this is good, I haven't tried mine yet.

Y'all sent some amazing rare stuff my way too - thanks!

Bhavana threw some extra beers into my last shipment to fill the box that they didn't charge me for. So we're good. Beer is better when shared.

    Endorsed. With emphasis.

Amazing to hear what Brewery Bhavana did. I hope they survive.

    Night two:

    With or Withoat You-Heist Brewery

The freshness/flavor lacked ever-so-slightly tonight, but, pairing this with a grilled peach salad, including mixed greens, 4 ounces of grilled boneless pork loin chops, strawberries, grilled peaches, craisins, praline pecans, goat cheese and some balsamic vinaigrette made us feel like royalty, all for a few $$ per person. Plus, no masks.

Wow- when richardjackson199 and beergoddess deliver, they deliver.

As noted by mattman during Saturday’s virtual pub, the canning date is 5/21.
    Fresh!!!!

Just cracking the can open I got hit with a wave of pineapple juice.

Solid pour with a dense head.

    Nose is lemon and pineapple.

Orange pith bitterness is followed by pineapple and finishes off super dry, almost like a brut IPA.

I’m with mattman and richardjackson- this is a tasty, tasty beer.
    Going to savour the rest.

Cheers and major thanks beergoddess and richardjackson199!!!

    Hardywood Park Cream Ale. Delicious.
Only 4.4% alc, but refreshing and very drinkable; would pair nicely with most any dish i can imagine that’s not too spicy.
May have a few tomorrow whilst on the links!!

How have I been to VA Beach so many times over the past couple years (I used to work down there at least once a month) and totally missed out on Commonwealth? Oh great, now I'm dreaming about Pelon's fish tacos and a cold one from Pleasure House. My day is done...

Long time, no visit. Hope you're well. That sounds like a fine session ale.

Report tonight? I'd be curious as to their inventory/supplies/selection as they've been somewhat limited in April and May so far and seem to sell out pretty quickly of what they brew.

Honestly, I was looking for any excuse. My AC outdoor unit broke on Wednesday, the part is "supposed" to be here today. It's about 79° and 110% humidity in my house right now. Not sure any work is getting done today...
