Holy chicken schnitzel (borrowed from somebody in the smoked meats and BBQ thread, I think)! If you've never traded beers with RJ199, you need to start. I thought I had finally evened the balance sheet earlier this year or last year and again tonight, but, I swear, his idea of $65 of beer is either waaaay miscalculated, or, he got an amazing amount of beverages for his money. Many thanks!! I'll enjoy them greatly over the next month or more, probably sharing a couple or three with our son a few weeks from now.

Sexual Chocolate (February 2017 Regular)

Had kept this guy laying down for a little more than three years. Boy, did that mellow this beer (and in a good way). Still pours super-dark, with a mocha colored head, into a Teku glass. Loads of coffee and chocolate on the nose. Super-smooth drinking down. Some underlying toffee. I have gotten somewhat used to BBA stouts, so my taste buds have been conditioned to taste some booze and wood and such, and this really didn't have any of that, which let the core coffee and chocolate flavors shine through. Upper Cat 3, and better with age. I have one more of this vintage to drink sometime.

Made even better with a DMB concert, amirite?
