Love to see if anyone analyses an impact on taste.

Speaking of 3 Floyd's saw this article that came out of the Chicago Tribune - https://www.chicagotribune.com/coron...gsm-story.html
Brewpub is closed indefinitely, possibly up to 1-2 years. I completely forgot they had recently announced an expansion as well. It's been about two years since I made it to their brewery. Was hoping to get one more visit in before I moved west, but looks like it won't be happening
Thistle-Mezcal barrel-aged sour
• 4.8% ABV
• Brewery Bhavana
Hopefully this'll meet the "eye test" for Virtual Pub on Saturday based on "sour," a common Belgian style.

I’ve reached my limit on Bloomberg free articles, hope the link works:

Stunning, but not really unexpected:
"...The British Beer and Pub Association predicts that 40% of Britain’s 47,000 pubs will never reopen without financial support from the government."
We've had some discussion here and I vaguely recall some estimates of 25-50% of the US craft beer industry possibly closing.

Lost Province Orange Sunshine NEIPA with Oranges
Smells a bit like Orange Clean.
Super orangey, and bitter (not unpleasantly so).
If you mixed an Orange Julius and a light beer, you might get something like Orange Sunshine.
Tasty, drinkable.
Cheers! 🍻
ATTN: fuse
Your Belgians have been selected for Saturday. Hope Master approves/enjoys.

Oo - Pohjala Brewery (Estonia) - Imperial Baltic Porter - 10.5%
Black pour. Roasty aroma.
I loved this beer. It's roasty, smooth, drinkable, dark chocolate, black cherries, and well-balanced. Full body. It's very high quality, and I'd be happy with a 6 pack.
Strong Category 2.
Yes I know fuse doesn't like this style. This one was quite good, better than many stouts I've had. To each his own.
Miscellanea - Off Color Brewing Collab with Jester King, Allagash, Side Project - American Wild Sour Ale - 6.2 % - 8 IBU
Bright gold pour. Taste is vinous, cidery, grape, like a saison, tart, some apricot on finish, smooth, and drinkable.
Good Category 2, but not as good as the Baltic porter
