3 Floydss will be selling Dark Lord variants in the coming days. Looks like 2020 Dark Lord will be available in the future as well.
I've got my Ohio and Chicago sleuths/beer mules following this development closely. I suspect there will be an on-line blitzkrieg when sales begin.

Love to see if anyone analyses an impact on taste.

I turned post notifications on for their Instagram

Speaking of 3 Floyd's saw this article that came out of the Chicago Tribune - https://www.chicagotribune.com/coron...gsm-story.html

Brewpub is closed indefinitely, possibly up to 1-2 years. I completely forgot they had recently announced an expansion as well. It's been about two years since I made it to their brewery. Was hoping to get one more visit in before I moved west, but looks like it won't be happening

Closing their brewpub is indeed very sad. I hope their brewery and distillery keep them afloat.

    Thistle-Mezcal barrel-aged sour

    • 4.8% ABV

    • Brewery Bhavana

Hopefully this'll meet the "eye test" for Virtual Pub on Saturday based on "sour," a common Belgian style.

Patina Dark. It's a slow sipper for sure but was tough for me to drink due to the pucker. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I usually do Bhavana's beers.

    Stunning, but not really unexpected:

"...The British Beer and Pub Association predicts that 40% of Britain’s 47,000 pubs will never reopen without financial support from the government."

We've had some discussion here and I vaguely recall some estimates of 25-50% of the US craft beer industry possibly closing.

Lost Province Orange Sunshine NEIPA with Oranges

Smells a bit like Orange Clean.

Super orangey, and bitter (not unpleasantly so).

If you mixed an Orange Julius and a light beer, you might get something like Orange Sunshine.

    Tasty, drinkable.

    Cheers! 🍻

Preliminary tasting tonight reveals a local, barrel-aged sour that will be highly suitable for an opener on Saturday...

Oo - Pohjala Brewery (Estonia) - Imperial Baltic Porter - 10.5%

    Black pour. Roasty aroma.

I loved this beer. It's roasty, smooth, drinkable, dark chocolate, black cherries, and well-balanced. Full body. It's very high quality, and I'd be happy with a 6 pack.

    Strong Category 2.

Yes I know fuse doesn't like this style. This one was quite good, better than many stouts I've had. To each his own.

Miscellanea - Off Color Brewing Collab with Jester King, Allagash, Side Project - American Wild Sour Ale - 6.2 % - 8 IBU

Bright gold pour. Taste is vinous, cidery, grape, like a saison, tart, some apricot on finish, smooth, and drinkable.

Good Category 2, but not as good as the Baltic porter

This actually sounds quite interesting. Where/how in the chappaheeya did you come up with this find?

    More nearby/local!

From Fountain, NC, population 425 (no typo ).

Easily one of the best brown ales I've ever had, including DFH Indian Brown Ale, Raison D'Etre, Raison D'Extra and Palo Santo Marron.

A vigorous pour from a very pretty 16 ounce can showed me a dark, dark brown elixir with a frothy, tan head. Enticing aromas of coffee (added), cinnamon (added) and milk chocolate (not added). Tastes more of the same with nutty and dark brown sugar overtones (Muscavado sugar added), herbal/earthy hops (unnamed) and a smooth, smooth mouthfeel (golden naked oats added). Can't find the IBU stats so I'll guess 30. ABV is 7.5% so it's technically an imperial brown ale. I think this was about $4 after my 15% mixed case discount last month. I'd certainly buy this again and if anyone in eastern/central NC sees it at their favorite specialty beer store, it should be purchased without hesitation.
This one was promoted to Admiral Boots recently. Bob Green might be perplexed with the cross-promotions within branches of the US Armed Forces because I most certainly am confused . Full review in AM. This was a great beer.

That’s quite a collaboration. Reads quite enjoyable.
