All the beers are good when the in laws are here.
Mother in law shouts regular updates about the latest corona virus infections. That’s when I drink.
Folks,
I have been nominated to host the next DBR Virtual Pub day. This should be exciting, as it will mark the first one that I have actually virtually attended (been, you know, wicked busy). I am proposing Saturday March 7th, when we do battle with those folks from up the road once again. Yes, we will all lose an hour of sleep that night due to leaping forward, but life often requires sacrifices.
Here are the hosts and styles we've had so far:
July/fuse/NEIPA
August/RJ199/goses
September/Tripping William/Octoberfests
September/mattman91/Saison
October/DevilDeac/sours
November/accfanfrom1970/stouts
December/luburch/Holiday Ale
January/thedukelamere/Barrel-Aged
February/thedukelamere/Wheat Beer
For my choice, I am going to go classic and boring. With the weather (hopefully) starting to warm up, I am ready to move on from my winter beer diet of stouts and porters. Time to get back to my first craft beer love, the IPA. Specifically, I am looking for the classic, clean, pre-NEIPA version. This being America, you are of course welcome to amp it up to a double or triple IPA if the mood strikes (or of the game leads you to require some sterner stuff).
Unless there is a call for pre-noon drinking, I will open the pub at noon eastern. Hope to see you there!
