I’m trying to think what of their seasonal/small-batch stuff I have had, but the old memory is letting me down. Oh, and their lime pilsner is terrific.

Well, this caused me to hit Uinta’s website.

I’d be hard pressed to recall the last time I had a Uinta beer.

I didn’t see anything on the Uinta site that sparked joy. I did see a much longer list of beer than I was aware of, or had seen or tried.

I’d call Uinta solid. Good, not memorable.

The lime pilsner is new to me. Lemme look at some archives and check what other Uinta brews I've had.

I yield on your second assessment, no contest.

I’d actually be interested in a more detailed comparison why Boulevard is better than Yazoo.

I’m not disagreeing; pending further review I think this is a close call.

Uinta list (going back to 2011):

    Punk'n
    Detour
    Dubhe
    Tilted Smile
    Oak Jacked Imperial Pumpkin
    Monkshine
Skipping Stone (ha! Jackie O's brews a Skipping Stone, too)
    Hop Notch
    Labyrinth

and Baba in there somewhere before 2011.

    That's all I gots.

    From personal tastings (since 2011):

Yazoo: Berliner, Deux Rouges Batch 3, Delicieux, Sue, Hopry (yes, fuse, you should recognize all those except Hopry )

Boulevard-Chill Vibes, Hibiscus Gose, Tank 7, Unfiltered Wheat Beer, Bourbon Barrel Quad, Saison Brett, Rye on Rye, Ginger Lemon Radler, Chocolate Ale, Tell Tale Tart, Calling, Dark Truth, Wh*at, Double Wide IPA and The Sixth Glass

Therefore, Boulevard>Yazoo based on (in no particular order): number of beers tasted, wider availability in the Triangle and their Smokestack Series of high gravity and/or barrel-aged ales, several of which are named above. The gap is smaller than I thought as I'd forgotten some of the gems fuse brought back several years ago after his trip to Music City, USA. I'll go with Boulevard by a FG.

Oops, I forgot you had tasted that one. If I had remembered, I would have quoted you. Must have been the Alabama-Mississippi disconnect .

    Style-witbier with additives
    Glassware-Sam Adams White Ale glass
    Appearance-light straw; smallish head
    Scents-orange, coriander, flowers
    Mouthfeel-a bit tingly
    Tastes-orange, flowers, light caramel
    Adjuncts-orange peel, coriander, chamomile
    IBU-probably 20
    ABV-4.5%
Overall rating-a decent porch pounder for an almost 70 degree winter night
Ymm, Beer rating-low cat 2; wouldn't search out but a pleasant, palatable ale which was not expected given the brewery

Question for Tripping William and/or RJ199: Do either/both of you know much/anything about 638 Brewing?
No Clue. Never heard of it.

The interwebs suggest that Foothills is 638 Brewing Company.

The bigger intrigue to me is if Natty Greene’s is contract brewing with Foothills, does Natty Greene’s really exist anymore?

Evidently Foothills Address is 638 West Fourth Street. I'm probably too busy looking for a street parking spot by that point to look at my GPS
