Thanks! Definitely will do. Their tailgate is Fuse Category 4. I didn't realize that show travelled. As Ozzie previously noted, I hope they know how much their outstanding efforts (pre and post-game) are appreciated. That quality tailgate sets the stage for top shelf camaraderie and makes the whole game experience well beyond worthwhile (regardless of the outcome on the field).

Ardent BBA Honey Ginger
11.5%?????? Whoa.
After reading reviews here, I have been super excited to try this beer from Ardent.
Colour of grade B maple syrup, really no head and minimal visible carbonation.
I waited a very long 15 minutes to allow the beer to warm up.
Smells like ginger ale at first sniff.
Second sniff is ginger ale followed by bourbon.
Nice mouthfeel, almost syrupy.
Honey sweet up front, big bourbon burn on the finish.
Midpalate transitions from honey to fleetingly bitter before bourbon overwhelms.
Again, I’m not a big mixed drinks guy and yet I can picture a lowball glass with ice, half full of bourbon, topped off with ginger ale and a little drizzle of honey as a possible inspiration for this beer.
Was well worth the wait. What a beer!
Cheers, and thanks accfanfrom1970 and devildeac! 🍻
Sigh. Guess I am writing off Weyerbacher.
Imperial metallic pumpkin has shattered my former top three pumpkin beers.
Farewell, Weyerbacher. I did enjoy your beer at its height.
International Stout Day is tomorrow for 2019. Don't say you weren't warned/alerted :

I'll be here...

From what they claim is NC's first (only?) female-owned brewery comes a riff on the Belgian Tripel. Not the best riff. The color is great (nice, bright gold), but the rest just sort of falls flat. Not much on the nose, not terribly flavorful, a little bitterness on the aftertaste. Good to try once. Cat 1.
"Amazing what a minute can do."
Perhaps I can be of some assistance with that problem:
