Even a full pint last PM after sampling/sharing a few days ago with family didn't change my mind whether is was started at about 55 degrees or finished about 65 degrees, this beer was very good but I still like the original better. Perhaps I should look for a barrel-aged variant or two.

    From Saturday PM:

    Berry Milkshake IPA-Alaskan Brewing Company

    Don't. Even. Ask.

Credit-younger son in law muled this from a package goods store near him; thanks!!
    Style-^^^^
    Format-bomber shared two ways
    Stemware-snifters
Appearance-slightly hazy pinkish amber; modest head
    Nose-berries and grapefruit
    Mouthfeel-a bite!
Tastes-lotta grapefruit, berries as advertised, some orange and vanilla
Adjuncts-strawberries, blackberries, natural vanilla flavor; gotta have lactose to make it a milkshake IPA but it's not listed
    IBU-60
    ABV-7%
Overall impression-interesting pairing with a bowl of vegetable beef soup and a mixed green salad
Ymm, Beer rating-mid/upper cat 2; happy to have tried but wouldn't seek out

Many thanks for agreeing to host the January VP!!

    This. Is. Awesome.

Already have my first (of several, I hope) selection/s, via a trade/transfer portal entry from accfan (there was a small amount of $$ involved in the exchange and consideration given to future "draft" choices from both *parties*).

Wait, you're even gonna set up the Zoom? Is fuse out of a job?

Happy to let fuse set it up but I do have a Zoom account so I can do it myself. Either way works for me.

This is great! Thanks DinK! I'm already contemplating a couple beers/breweries to try out for this. Research time!

I may even have a 2 year old cabernet barrel aged Scotch ale from fuse in the "cellar."

Why don't you go ahead and set it up - you are used to doing it for the group. Thank you!

Went to a local hangout called "Charred" where we can still sit outside by a nice big fire pit. Had a couple of beverages. I had an O'Connor El Guapo Agave IPA - Meh!? Not bad. Then had an old standby - Victory Sour Monkey. Still good. That's about it for the updates. Fire pit warmed us nicely on a chilly evening.
