SoPines is the flagship brewery here. Pinehurst Brewing Company is also really good (with a brewmaster lured away from Heist). Hatchet and Railhouse are in the area, but a notch below.
The last 2 are new to me and I'm thinking PBC has limited packaging and doesn't even reach the Raleigh shops.

This was the BBA baltic porter I had on draft that I had to get seconds of. I still remember it because if was one of the best beers I had soon before the pandemic closed breweries. Wise Man was packed that night with live music.

This is probably not my favorite style of beer, but in the summer this one hits the spot
A Tropical Shirt might follow a Bright ssA Tank Top on that hot summer afternoon.

I know that feeling all too well. I dropped 2 Benjamins at Stella last week, and I thought I was being selective. No 4 packs. Just a single of each one to trade to my family and of course another single of the same ones so I could try the same ones and compare reviews. I'm back on temporary beer-buying probation until the fridge gets more empty.

I can't even imagine how many great breweries there are around the country I've never tried. But no complaints from NC and Virginia

Understood! Between the Veil and the Three Notch'd from last week I'm in the same boat...

We were just talking about this unknown brewery. Another beer where the older version was better, but what a great Rum barrel key lime gose

Not many beers have gotten the coveted Category 4 on Ymm Beer, but this margarita gose earned it

Money well spent. I've never regretted buying world class beer, especially when a great one starts the weekend off right

I was just about to ask you where this one was! Definitely agree, an excellent choice. Did you know that the Agave plant usually lives for about 10 to 25 years, flowers, produces seeds and then dies? Tragic.

I'm still not sure about the Beergoddess' taste in men but she certainly has excellent taste in beer!

The beer, that is, not some hackneyed toaster pastry.
