A 3rd Brewer's Kettle location dangerously close (1 mile away) from a house I'm considering buying.. that's stumbling distance.

Also half a mile from a brewery...

@ Brewer's Kettle in Kernersville. After visiting both, I prefer the Clemmons location for beer selection, but the Kernersville location for a pint.
Don't recall any reports from RJ199 about the Kernersville but he has high praise for the Clemmons spot. Maybe y'all can share a tent in aisle 1.

I agree; sometimes it's difficult to separate the different hops and combinations thereof.

    Another excellent Wise Man beer.

    Thanks richardjackson199 and thebeergoddess!
As an aside, I now have beer indecision when I go to the fridge- not sure where to start. An awesome “problem” to have.

    Skol! 🍻
At least I got the melon part correct in my review .

Fuse was right many months ago; half pint pours are an ideal way to sample beers when there are 12-14 on tap, especially on someone else's tab.

If there's a gun/ammo shop nearby just go ahead and offer them twice what they want for the house...

Ha! Not really. I'm planning on a trip to Bottle Rev next week to their German section. However, I do have a Paulaner from RJ199 and the beergoddess in addition to an Oktoberfest from a fine Chicago brewery...

Black Oak. From Red Oak. Not sure a Hummingbird, even from Helles, could drink much of this at 8.5% ABV .

    Not a beer night...

Sipping a Glenlivet 12 while checking out the David Lowery Livestream on FB. Some great Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker hits! Thanks to OPK for the heads up!

Beergoddess is on inpatient 2 out of next 3 weeks, so I/she/we would appreciate an assist from you or any of the other experts on this thread.

You and fuse had an outstanding idea for virtual pub. Suggest some top-notch German beers that may be easier to find at a good bottle shop. Then those who are able to find them can all taste/review the same beer to compare impressions.

I was at Brewer's Kettle Clemmons last weekend, and they looked to have an outstanding German beer selection. But I didn't recognize any of them except the Paulaner thanks to uh no's recent posts. And I don't even speak German. So if you come across 3-4 fun ones that are readily available to try, suggest away!

looking forward to the Virtual pub. This fad is all the rage.

It's true. That is one cool thing about Commonwealth. Their IPA's don't all taste the same and have some pretty interesting hop combo's.

This Syndicate is great in the Moonlight. And the drawing on the can is spooky like moonlight:
