More seriously, they return 6 of their top 7 players (in terms of minutes played) from a team that was 27-7 last year and won two games in the CollegeInsider.com tournament. Last year's team also played 4 games against teams in KenPom's top 100. They were blown out by Louisville, had a respectable 9 point loss to St. Mary's, and beat Houston and San Diego St. So it should be more of a test than Marist.

Looks like Grand Canyon had 9 players who played at least 12 minutes in their only exhibition game. So, maybe my joke about depth actually has some basketball relevance.

After giving our two cranky old cats baths, I was looking for something to take my mind off my scratched and bleeding self. Turns out in Virginia Beach (and I assume all of South Hampton Roads) Verizon Fios is carrying the game on CSN MA, channels 76 SD & 576 HD.
