Absolutely the local news has gotten caught a few times.

They were jazzing it up with flooding one time in the early 90s.to be fair the water was deep in areas just not where they were. Local police dept ran us out of the mall parking lot. Impounded our jet skis . It cost us 275 dollars to get them out.
I thought that was a bit extreme .
