Someone elsewhere made the joke that Dallas should sign Gerald Green to play SG and Jason Thompson to play PF and they could have a starting lineup of Curry/Thompson/Barnes/Green/Bogut.

In all seriousness, good for Curry. Glad to see his hard work paying off with a very nice payday.

I got my Curry's mixed up. Apparently I need more coffee before I can tell the difference between a Steph and a Seth.

I'm always surprised by the guys that have trouble catching on in the NBA. Congrats to Seth for a nice contract.

    Let's see. There's Steph:

Imagine how much trouble you'd have if some NBA team offered this Sith guy a multi-year contract:

His name shall not be mentioned, and Dallas did give him a multi-year contract.

Believe me, you don't want Staph in your locker room.

If you did, would you see the staph physician or the staff physician?

Oh, and I concur that you definitely don't want Staph in your locker room.

But if you do get it, this company has the answer: Xenex. UV disinfection system. For all you docs out there that work in hospitals, this thing reduces HAIs dramatically--MRSA, C.Diff, Staph, etc. Awesome tech.

Seth and Steph may be the hardest working brothers ever in the NBA. It's very nice to see both being very well rewarded for their amazing effort.

What's old is new again! (With a special connection to DBR!)

Dr. Hart's professional career has been high-lighted by his introduction in 1936 of ultraviolet radiation into operating rooms to combat airborne bacteria. The Medical Center's rate of infection of surgical patients who did not have previous infection had been climbing when Dr. Hart's research established that the bacteria were coming into the operating room in the respiratory tracts of the doctors and nurses. The powerful lamps he installed in the operating rooms sterilized the air, but would also redden the skin of patients and personnel. Dr. Hart wore a pith helmet and heavy hood until he realized he was overprotected a little." Now, only a green eye-shade and a hood covering the back of the doctor's neck are used. The infection rate dropped to a level that served as a goal for many other hospitals.

I had surgery at Duke in the fall of my sophomore year in 1965 under UV. All attending looked similar to Hazmat suits today. Freaky cool.
