I just moved to an area where I was forced to get Uverse. To be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised after doing a speedtest (over wifi). I'm paying for 75mbps and I'm getting 82mbps down and 9 up.

We have FIOS and pay for 50/50. Just tested on wifi and got 57/62. We pay just under $70.

Time Warner plan is 200/20. Speedtest showing 161/20

if that's wireless, that's cause TWC's modem is horrible...try the test with a cat5 directly...you will probably get the entire bandwidth..


i went out and bought another wireless router and set it next to the TWC one, got 240/20 when the TWC was showing 120/20

God, I guess I live in the stone age. My internet speeds at work (Verizon DSL) are 2.29 Mbps down and .38 up. I guess this is REALLY bad?
