So the final four are announced:

1. Clemson vs. No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl

2. Alabama vs. No. 3 Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl.

No real controversy, although the fact Michigan State jumped Oklahoma does rob the Sooner fans of a regional game (they would have played in the Cotton Bowl at No. 3).

Sets up two interesting matchups -- a year ago Clemson annihilated Oklahoma, 40-6, in the Citrus Bowl. Also, a year ago, top-seeded Alabama was upset by the Big Ten Champ in the semifinals.
