    Chocolate Thunder RIP

RIP Mr. Darryl Dawkins. Very sad, too young. Planet Lovetron. I really enjoyed his game.

I had the fortune of visiting the Basketball Hall of Fame on a day where he spoke to the kids who were visiting. He was an absolutely great storyteller about the many ways in which basketball impacted his life (including a story about Mike Gminski, who was apparently nowhere near as good of an enforcer as Mr. Dawkins). Also for the adults who were watching, it was hilarious seeing him put the kids into a layup drill only to block all of their attempts with aplomb.

I heard his name the first time and went back and re-watched it and I do believe that is indeed Doug Collins.
