Incredible entertainer, and ambassador of the blues. Will miss him and Lucille.

Was fortunate enough to see BB King perform twice at the Boston Tea Party in the summer of '69 when he was just 44. Sat 15-20 ft from him. Remember going to the COOP to find an early live LP before his records got over produced. The lp "Alive and Well" is from that period. What separated him from the other blues guitarists is, apart from Muddy Waters, he was a better singer/entertainer. Fortunately I have the dvda he did with Clapton (Riding with the King) which is in regular rotation on my car sound system.
