Saw this factoid on insideNBA and felt compelled to share:

"Kyle Korver is shooting 52.8% from three-point range this season. Shaq in his career averaged 52.7% from the free throw line"

That's the NBA 3-point line (23 3/4') against NBA defenders and a 24 second shot clock (timed from inbounding at far baseline), vs uncontested 15' shot within 10 seconds of being set and receiving the ball.
