They've been having fun today. Hard to get a good sense of the slope except that while taking the pic at the top of the hill, I'm even with the roof-line of the Duke blue house on the right.

Looks wonderful! As a child of the snowy middle west, I confirm that sledding doesn't get any better than that.
    Great pic, brings back memories.

Freezing rain here, doom is obviously upon us.

Well it's a lovely 62 here in sunny Fayetteville and the forecast is for between 6-12 inches tomorrow, starting mid-morning.
    Go figure.

I'd volunteer to send some of tonight's offering up to -jk and weezie but might get demerit points for it. Wake County cancelled schools today. Total snowfall so far=0. Nice plan.

Snowmageddon 2014 in NC. Hope all you folks have plenty of milk, bread, and canned greens. May God have mercy on us all.

The snow has started falling in Hampton Roads. The call was made today for folks to stay home from work tomorrow so I get a snow day. Personally, I'd rather go to work that put up with the irritating white stuff. Oh well, I have all the essentials required when one is snowed in: beer, canned chili, chicken pot pies, bologna, bread, mustard, frozen pizza and other assorted healthy foods.
