    unfortunately, much like uconn-tennessee, that rivalry seems like it will end...which is a shame for womens basketball....

    Maybe--although in the women's game top quality teams often play each other outside of conference (for instance, Duke and UConn have played fairly often). So maybe they will be able to keep up a regular season matchup even if they don't meet in a conference tournament.

    Uconn has a history of refusing to play teams that have left the conference, and ND is not on the schedule this year...so aside from the few mathups with duke and stanford, there's a lot of really bad basketball games to look forward to /s
