Today the Tuckahoe American team from Richmond defeated the South Carolina team to advance to the finals to represent the Southeast in Williamsport in the near future. I'm proud for our guys as I'm an alum of Tuckahoe American and made the All-Star team when I was 12 and my grandfather (Duke alum) was one of the founding fathers of the league way back when. I think the last time Tuckahoe made it to the WS was in 1968. I played in 1974.
So, if you have no rooting interest, please root for the boys from Richmond Go, Go Tuckahoe!!

I cringed every time the announcer mispronounced Henrico...I'll be tuned in Friday night rooting for them. My son played and lost against Tuckahoe several years ago (Chesterfield). Always root for the locals.

I always get a little choked up during the Little League Series. It's just such a wonderful display of boys playing the game!
