Call him the new sheriff in town, because Chris Collins is bringing the Law to Northwestern, Vic Law:

The first top-75 recruit to Northwestern in TWENTY YEARS, since Evan Eschmeyer in 1993.
Way to go Chris.

Hurray Chris Collins!!! Congratulations. Until NW gets good enough that he starts actively competing with and potentially beating Duke for Chicago area recruits, then I will not cheer Chris Collins for his recruiting successes. (Note: I think that this is a distinct possibility in the future, Collins kills it in IL)
I coached football against Law and his grammar school team from the time he was a fourth grader until he was an eighth grader.
I remember seeing an extremely tall kid playing QB as a fourth grader who had a rocket for an arm and thinking: "Great. We have to see this kid for the next 4 years." He helped lead his team to the league championship game 3 of those next 4 years and won the title once. (Shameless self-promotion: our team beat his team in the title game at the end of his eighth grade year.)
Could easily have been a great football recruit as well.
Best of luck to him & Coach Collins at NU.
