NCAA won't grant hardship waiver after two of player's family members die

So we thought this was bad... but this new NCAA ruling is even worse.

The kid's brother and dad both die and they can't grant a waiver? Not to mention the fact that it's Rutgers, where they just had to deal with this garbage... think anyone would want to transfer *to* a program that just had that issue unless there was a good reason?

The NCAA should either do away with hardship waivers or the one-year redshirt requirement. No more half-measures.
