    April Fool's Day

March ends and April begins in a few East Coast minutes. Tread lightly, DBR. Our collective nerves are frayed. Something at UNC's expense, maybe? Roy Williams and John Deere combine forces on a series of all-terrain buses? Sylvia Hatchell to guest judge TV's "Project Runway"?

Mods, feel free to move this thread to Off-Topic and repurpose it for various April Fool's Day 2013 pranks from the Internet and real life. I am loath to start new threads but felt someone needed to launch a pre-emptive strike.

    Google

apparently announced earlier that they were picking the best Youtube video, and that the whole thing was an 8-year competition. Read it this morning, will edit with a link when I get a moment. Housework calls.

April Fool's Day is the lowest form of "holiday."

Nah, that would be New Year's Eve-- AFD is great!

You probably don't like puns, either.

I finally got my wife yesterday. When she got up, I told her that I read on DBR that Coach K was so incensed with the officiating Sunday that he blasted the officials at the post game press conference. The NCAA immediately fined him $50,000 and suspended him for the first 10 games next year. That made Coach K so mad that he quit (retired) on the spot. So now Duke is looking for a new coach. It took her a few seconds to realize what day it was.
